HR Manager

In an exclusive partnership with us, our client is looking to add a Human Resources Manager to their team.  This position will be based in Northern Alabama.


Responsibilities:

·  Plan, direct, and manage personnel policies including budgeting, benefits, payroll, risk management and training.

·  Develop and implement tools for career path development, succession planning, organization building, and personnel assessments. 

·  Assist in building and implementing a world-class employee evaluation process and drive into the division’s culture.

·  Recruit, interview, assess and place prospective employees.  Develop and implement new employee orientation.

·  Act as a catalyst for driving a team-based, continuous improvement culture throughout the Company’s business units. 

·  Coach and assist cross-functional teams in achieving key business objectives in safety, quality, continuous improvement and productivity.

 

Requirements:

·  Undergraduate degree required.

·  Must have 7-10 years experience in Human Resources (in a manufacturing environment), with 3-5 years experience in HR Management.

·  Must have union or union avoidance experience; multi-plant not required.

·  Action and result oriented; comfortable counseling and advising management team on peer basis.

·  Must have proven track record in developing personnel and organizations, as well as improving organizational effectiveness.

·  Very strong communication skills; written, verbal, interpersonal.
