District Human Resources Manager

Do you enjoy working in Human Resources?  Are you great at developing others and resolving issues?  Put those strengths into action by joining our District Team as a District Human Resources Manager supporting stores throughout Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana!

 

As a District Human Resources Manager, you will play a key partnership role in the success of the Southwest Region.  This position will offer the opportunity to be involved in the front line implementation and evaluation of innovation work.  Responsibilities also include resolving issues based on appropriate applications of Human Resource policies and procedures and handling associate relations and general HR issues through conducting investigations, analyzing symptoms to demonstrate the root cause, researching and interpreting policies, and providing advice/council. Proactively educating clients on policy and procedures, as well as focusing on the development of our store leadership team are also responsibilities in this role.

 

To be successful in this role, it is preferred that you have 5-7 years of HR experience coupled with a 4-year degree, or a specific HR degree with 1-2 years of multi-unit retail HR experience.  HR certification strongly preferred.  The ability to be customer-focused and to analyze information quickly is required.  Strong communication skills are necessary for this role, so you must be able to manage conflict, build strong relationships, and influence others.  Multi-Unit HR support in a retail environment is highly desirable!  The competencies needed are:

To be successful, you should have excellent follow up skills (a must) and experience in Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning.  Ability to influence leaders at all levels is key!
