Director Human Resources- Staffing to $85k+ - Restaurant

Job Description: Job Summary and Mission This job contributes to RU's success by providing deliverable staffing solutions and industry-leading Management talent, as well as developing and implementing HR programs that drive Company and team results. The human resource director is required to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managing the staffing function and overall generalist work. The incumbent is responsible for role modeling in accordance with RU's values.

Responsibilities
.Displays a "client" first attitude by creating and delivering strategic staffing systems, tools, and processes that support company results and cost goals (budgets are met).
.Leads the staffing function (sourcing, screening, interviewing, application processing, background checks exit interviews) and appropriately directs work to other team members.
.Ensures Home Office positions are staffed in a timely manner and Restaurant Management positions are productively sourced and referred in a timely manner.
.Ensures that staffing systems and products are trained to hiring partners and that partners are accountable for strategic staffing decisions and results.
.Plans, identifies, communicates, and provides guidance to executives, managers, and employees on appropriate staffing policies and practices.
.Advice and counsel are provided to support effective succession planning.
.Creates and utilizes HR management information tools (metrics) to identify trends and issues within the industry and the organization.
.Management forecasting needs and staffing trends are effectively delivered and reported to HR and strategic partners.
.Direct and ensure accurate and timely internal and external reporting (e.g., specified industry surveys, etc.).
. Manages with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the RU culture and values.
.Compliance laws and staffing regulations are accurately communicated and implemented in the organization.
.Influences Company and department direction.
.Support and deliver HR goals.
.Participate in and influence HR special projects.


Qualifications
.This is a senior level human resource staff professional with no direct supervisory responsibility, typically requiring 5 or more years of professional HR experience.
.Advanced expertise in employment and staffing required.
.HR degree or professional certification (PHR/SPHR) desired.
.Knowledgeable in one or more of the following additional areas of expertise: employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and safety.
