Respiratory Therapy Coord

Overview : Full time days 6am-6:30pm 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the coordination and supervision of subordinate personnel and the performance of all routine and specialized forms of respiratory care services, which includes providing leadership, assigning and facilitating work, adjustment of work in progress, evaluation of qjuality/appropriateness of services and staff performance, patient assessment and therapeutic recommendation, staff and patient education, and the delivery of direct patient care.

Qualifications :

Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with a current Arizona license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Must perform compentenly and independently in all respiratory procedures. Previous supervisory and leadership training and experience preferred. BCLS required; ACLS, PALS or NRP preferred. Effective human and customre relations skills are necessary to interface with patients, families, visitors, physicians, nurses and other Banner Health employees are expected to adhere to Banner's service standards and organizational values in all their interactions with Banner patients, other customers, and fellow employees.
