RCP III/POOL

Overview : Pool/Days or Nights. Experienced RRT with ER and/or ICU experience. Must possess excellent leadership skills. This position is responsible for independently providing respiratory care and diagnostic testing to patients with respiratory and/or cardiac disorders. The practitioner will understand and apply fundamental techniques of respiratory therapy, conduct assessments and make recommendations regarding care for adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients in an acute care setting and/or to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in skilled nursing and resident care facilities, dependent on area of assignment. Qualifications :

Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with a current Arizona license as a Respiratory Care practitioner. Must perform competently and endependently in all basic and advanced respiratory procedures. BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification preferred. Effective human relations skills are necessary to interface with patients, families and healthcare personnel.
