Medical Interpreter II On Call

Provides Spanish interpretation and support for patients/family members and staff to identify needs/concerns relative to the hospital experience, resulting in quality service and optimum care. Must also be able to communicate directly with physicians, nursing staff, and other medical/non-medical personnel. Requires High School degree or equivalent and1 year experience inSpanish bilingual interpretation. Must be able toread, write, and speak Spanish to English and English to Spanish. Requires certification from Spanish Bilingual Assistant (SBA) certificate program.
