POSITION SUMMARY

Provides social work services to meet the patients' and the patient’s significant others' needs, including: psychosocial assessments, case-finding, brief counseling, intervention, group support facilitation, case conferences, information and referral, consultation with other professionals and outside agencies, brief counseling to employees, orientation to new employees, case presentations, in-service education to other disciplines, performance improvement

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

MSW degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education

Current California license issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience as a social worker in a medical setting
