Foster Care Caseworker

First Home Care is expanding our wrap around services and community based resource centers. We offer a host of services to youth that include home based programming, case management services, therapeutic group homes and foster care programming.

 



Duties of Caseworker I:





Primary responsibilities include needs assessment, treatment planning, case coordination and advocacy of youth referred for foster care services.  Daily activities include therapeutic interactions with children, maintaining supportive relationships with foster parents and collaboration with other service providers to ensure a successful transition.

 









Education Requirements:





Level I (Job Code 06-4153):

Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Services or health related field. Two or more years experience in juvenile services, residential, group homes, psychiatric programs or health related field. Experience providing services to children or adolescents with emotional and/or substance abuse problems is preferred.
