Early Childhood Teacher for CFDC Department

FULL TIME AND PER DIEM POSITIONS AVAILABLE

 

Under the general supervision of the program director program responsibilities will include working as a member of the Early Childhood Directions teaching team; to support and work with other teachers in all facets of running a classroom that promotes psychological and cognitive development as well as supporting ethnic and family diversity that reflect the evolving practice of an open and supportive environment for families Conducts and plans general child development curriculum and other activities for preschool youngsters. Maintains an environment conductive to learning and development.




REQUIRES: 12 units in ECE plus an AA, or Children's Center Instruction Permit or BA/BS preferred. Required to take 3 units in early childhood education each year if children's center instruction permit or degree is not held. One (1) year teaching experience of preschool aged children. Evidence of finger print clearance. Current CPR required. Willingness to attend outside education services. EVIDENCE OF FINGER PRINT CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
