Director of Psychiatric Services

We are currently assisting a Medical Center in Rutland, VT in their search for a Director of Psychiatric Services. Rutland, population about 70,000, is located on the western slopes of Vermont's Green Mountains, within minutes of exceptional recreational opportunities and within a short drive of major metropolitan centers.

The Director of Psychiatric Services will provide administrative and clinical leadership and oversight of a psychiatric unit providing mental health and substance abuse services.

This position requires a Masters degree in counseling, nursing, psychology, social work or a related field with independent clinical licensure. Must possess 5 years experience in behavioral health services, and 2 years management experience. A background in marketing is desirable, and knowledge of the state mental health system is preferred
