Clinical Supervisor

Programs that Foothill Family provides include: preschool and school-based mental health services for high-risk children, adolescents and their families; child abuse prevention and treatment; parent education; individual, family and group counseling; case management for pregnant and parenting teens and their children; domestic violence treatment for survivors and perpetrators; community education; and counseling and support for older adults.

 

Position: Clinical Supervisor

Location: West Covina, CA

 

Qualifications:

·  Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, or Psychology

·  Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist

·  Two years of post license experience in clinical supervision

·  Directly supervises 5-10 therapists/interns in the Clinical Services Department

·  Excellent written and communication skills

·  Experience in providing direct service and treatment to individuals, families and groups

·  Excellent interpersonal skills

·  Ability to effectively and successfully interact with individuals from diverse socio- economic/ethnic groups

·  Ability to effectively use and teach use of DSM IV

·  Ability to administer a complex program by being detailed oriented, following up on concerns, and understanding the systems which helps insure quality of service and accurate record keeping

·  Ability to be an excellent representative of the agency to the community
