Case Manager

Be computer literate; perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.  Have the ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.  Excellent Customer Service skills are a must for this position.  Bilingual capabilities preferred.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists participant in procuring employment at a living wage and advancing toward self-sufficiency. Provides clients with a clear understanding of the GAIN program and their respective role within it.  Provides case management to a caseload of assigned program participants. Motivates, encourages, and supports participants in successfully completing each step/component of the program.  Refers participants to supportive services and monitors compliance with the employment plan and progress on a regular basis.  Will take action if initiates are non-compliant.  Provides employment counseling and job leads to participants to ensure placement and retention.  Performs community/county liaison duties as assigned. Maintains accurate case records into computer system.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university in human services (in lieu of bachelor's degree:  an associate degree and 2 years work experience in related field).  Position requires background check and basic computer knowledge.

 

Salary is DOE $29-$31k.Reference position 6106-10885-1.
