STATEMENT OF PURPOSE Under direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring no constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE- Mammography Technologist Under direction of a Radiologist, performs mammographic procedures within the guidlines of the FDA and ACR. Performs all requires quality control procedures. Must be able to use independen judgement, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionising radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Requires successful completion of an A.M.A. approved training program in radiologic technology Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible. A year of practical experience is usually required for complete acceptable performance. Vermont state license CPR certification required.
