Cardio Vascular Imaging Specialist

In this position, you will perform radiographic cardiovascular procedures using ionizing radiation under the direction of a Cardiologist. You will also assist Cardiologists in all procedures; recognize appropriate actions in emergency situations; contribute to the educational process for patients, cardio cath staff and self; and accurately processes and reproduces images.  Additionally you will assist with the maintenance of cardiac cath lab equipment, maintenance and inventory; support the prep of procedures room; ensure all of the appropriate needs of the cardiac cath lab are met; and participate in PL and QA activities.

 

This position requires a graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology; 2+ years of Radiology Technologist experience; ARRT examination registered; Fluoroscopy permit licensed; BLS; and current California licensure in Radiologic Technology. Cardiac cath lab experience is preferred.
