Quality Clinical Specialist

Overview : The purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate specific hospitalwide quality/performance improvements and patient safety programs and coordinate compliance and regulatory preparedness for state, federal and regulatory agency accreditation requirements. The position works closely with system initiatives. Work processed by the incumbent is confidential and protected from discovery by subpoena pursuant to ARS 36:445 and 36:441 or CRS 12-36.5 through 104.

Qualifications :

Licensed RN required. Bachelors degree in nursing or other healthcare related field preferred. CPHQ certification is perferred. A minimum of 3 years clinical experience is required with 5 years clinical experience preferred. Requires the ability to manage programs and projects. Requires demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and written communication skills. Experience with process improvement, regulatory/accrediation programs, data management, and analysis including graphic development and presentations is highly desirable. Prefer Acute care hospital experience with 3 years experienc in Cardiolgoy care or Cardiac Cath Lab or Cardiac suergery experience. Proficient in computer/spreadsheet software, graphs, analysis.
