Make your next career move! The Team Lead for Prior Authorization offers a great stepping stone to a Supervisor role. We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in our Physician call center as the primary information and mentoring resource for our Pharmacy Technical staff. Working within established policies and guidelines, the responsibilities of this position include:

 
Serving as the key contact for all employee questions and concerns
Addressing escalated issues from the Pharmacy Technicians, as well as external concerns on behalf of the department
Driving efficiency of workflow for the unit
Assigning, monitor and reviewing work
Assisting with scheduling
Providing orientation, training and coaching
Conducting reviews and performance appraisals, implementing disciplinary action as needed
Participating in the new-hire process
Supporting the Supervisor



Current CA licensure and experience as a Pharmacy Technician are required. Our ideal candidate has a stable work history and demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience providing customer service and working with healthcare professionals is preferred. Microsoft Office proficiency is required. AS-400 knowledge is preferred. An Associate’s degree (or equivalent college credit) is also desired.
