HELPING PATIENTS TO BETTER HEALTH!

As a Walgreens pharmacy technician, you will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to deliver superior patient care and customer service. Your primary role is to assist the Walgreens pharmacist with the day-to-day activities in the pharmacy.

As allowed by law, your duties may include:
Helping patients in dropping off and picking up prescriptions
Assisting pharmacists in filling prescriptions
Using our Intercom Plus computer system to process prescriptions and assist patients
Handling phone inquiries
Entering patient purchases on pharmacy cash registers.

Walgreens offers paid training and national certification for pharmacy technicians. Pharmacy technicians must be at least 18 years old. Some states may have additional requirements.
