GREAT PHARMACY CLERK OPPORTUNITIES AT LONGS DRUG STORE IN DANA POINT:



Store address: 32575 Golden Lantern, Dana Point CA 92629



Under direction of the Pharmacists, perform routine, non-professional pharmacy functions in connection with the typing of drug orders, stocking of pharmaceutical supplies, receiving and unpacking incoming drug shipments, and filling of drug orders. A general knowledge of common pharmaceutical terms and supplies is necessary. Process third party payment prescriptions. Must be flexible and work different schedules to meet customer and store needs. May work in other areas of the store as required.



Longs is an EOE.

Drugs screen is required.

Education: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school diploma is preferred. Must successfully complete Longs training modules.

Specific Knowledge: General knowledge of common pharmaceutical terms and supplies; thorough understanding and knowledge of Longs' PPS computer system; knowledge of and the ability to follow all applicable Longs pharmacy guidelines; thorough knowledge of consultation procedures; competent working knowledge of participating local third party plans.
