Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Trainee

Qualifications: Must be able to either type 30 wpm or 6,000 kph, or type prescription labels. Ca Registered Pharmacy Technician. Position requires successful completion of the Kaiser Outpatient Pharmacy Technician Program. Working knowledge of current drug forms, dosage strengths, and generic & trade name equivalents. Knowledge of Federal and State laws/regulations regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services. Ability to read, understand, and transcribe pharmaceutical information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn and operate the pharmacy computer system and other equipment. Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent bending, stooping, lifting and reaching. Lift or transport items of 1 - 50 lbs. weight.


MUST PASS ENTRANCE EXAM AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
