Regence is currently seeking an ambitious professional to join us at our Salt Lake City office as a Clinical Pharmacist Consultant. In this exciting role, you will focus on academic detailing and provider outreach and will have the opportunity to interact directly with physicians.

CLINICAL PHARMACIST CONSULTANT II (JOB # 13627)
Salt Lake City, UT

Combine your strong clinical pharmacy background with the following skills:
BA/BS degree in Pharmacy with the appropriate states' Pharmacy license
PharmD preferred
Masters in Healthcare Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related degree may be considered in lieu of the PharmD
Minimum of 2 years management or professional business experience in a managed health care system, medical group, hospital or related business in the health care delivery industry
Strong clinical pharmacy background with at least 4 years experience in acute care setting
Significant and responsible negotiating skills
Demonstrated success in managing professional business relationships in a managed care system, medical group, hospital or related organizations
Strong knowledge of prepaid health care economics and financing, industry dynamics, provider contracting strategies, techniques and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong business analytical skills and abilities
Strong project coordination ability
Ability to function effectively as a management team member
Computer literate, specifically word processing and spreadsheets
