VP of Physician Sales

Description
Opportunity for an Executive Level Sales person to utilize their expertise in identifying practice management sales opportunities, managing the VAR Value Added Resellers) network, developing leads; and structuring/closing profitable service agreements for the company.

VP will maintain industry and product knowledge and inform company of changing market conditions and competitive issues within the practice management industry.  Must also have the ability to manage time and resources effectively; and identify/coordinate activities with key selling influences.

Key areas of responsibility include:
-Developing specific plans, by specialty area, to ensure achievement of annual quota
-Identifying and closing new business
-Growing VAR business
-Playing a lead role in prospect sales call, presentations and negotiations
-Reporting sales activity to management and communicate performance vis-à-vis quota on a regular basis
-Growing Direct Sales and Transaction based business
-Managing a sales team of approximately 20+ sales rep's.

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of practice management sales experience
-Minimum of 5 years sales management experience
-Knowledge of sales strategies for physician practice market
-Must have experience with value added reseller (VAR) network
-Strong computer and presentation skills
-People oriented
-Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
-Professional appearance and presentation
