Talecris  Plasma  Resources  is  proud  to  announce  that  due  to  growth initiatives  through  market  expansion, we are now hiring for Plasma Donor Center  Assistant Managers. The  assistant manager  assists the center manager in directing all operations in the center including: the procurement  of  donors,  community relations, personnel practices, quality control,  and  the  shipment  of plasma. The goal is to produce the highest quality plasma and the maximum quantity within budget while maintaining all Talecris, State and Federal procedural, safety and environmental requirements.

 

Job Responsibilities:Support and manage the operations of a plasma collection facility, to include financial, administrative, marketing, HR, regulatory, quality, and facilities managementEnsures and maintains center compliance with all federal, state, local and company-specific regulations related to quality of product, employee and donor safetyAssists the Center Manager in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, initiating changes to center processes as neededWorks in collaboration with management and supervisor members for center staff selection, hiring, and disciplineSupports the Center Manager with center staff salary reviewsProvides feedback to employees through formal and informal performance evaluation processWorks in collaboration with Center Manager and management team to prepare for internal and external auditsPrepares routine reports and keeps management updated on center operations and operational issuesAssists in center production areas as neededAssumes responsibilities of Center Manager, in his/her absenceMay provide support to the Center Manager to conduct management training

 

Job Requirements:Bachelors degree in a scientific, medical or business discipline and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in a biomedical industry. Prior experience in plasma center operations is desirableEffective interpersonal, leadership,organizational and technical skillsAbility to attract, retain, motivate and develop a team of diverse individualsDemonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritizeOccasional travel requiredSupervisory experience is preferred
