Summary:

Empire Vision Centers is seeking a Regional Director of Lab Operations to join our team of professionals in our Albany, NY Region.  Primary responsibilities will be to support area Vision Center location laboratory associates by providing the necessary education, resources and benchmark standards to insure 100% internal and external customer satisfaction. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:Provide performance goals and standards for laboratory associates, to insure success.Support regional laboratory associates with challenges regarding the Central Laboratory and Inventory Control.Monitors product quality, workmanship and preventative maintenance, providing education and training as necessary.Coordination and completion of repairs and maintenance of laboratory equipment.Involvement in the career development of laboratory associates.To promote the service principle of 100% internal and external delight among associates.Provide communication to Location Management regarding laboratory operations.Assists Location Management with identifying and resolving associate opportunities.Planning, implementation and communication of new laboratory programs, products and services to laboratory associates.Extensive travel throughout the Albany NY Region is required

 

Experience and Background:

Seeking candidates with a minimum of five (5) years optical laboratory experience, with two (2) years in a support role.  Candidates must have a complete and thorough working knowledge of all laboratory equipment and processes along with a working knowledge and experience with ANSI standards.
