The DSM Engineering group of CIBA Vision RD&E Department is seeking a Process Engineer to design, implement and manage process improvement efforts in the molding area.

Primary responsibilities will include: Identify areas for analysis and improvement in the casting process. Design and execute DOEs to maximize improvement efficiencies. Coordinate efforts to achieve quick wins. Describe needed processing changes to automation designers/vendors for design/ development. Test said designs to meet the intended corrections. Validate process improvements. Improve existing casting processes to increase output and yields and improve product quality. Input to the development of new processing automation to improve processing quality, reduce costs and maintenance. Interface with vendors to ensure smooth transition of design implementation. Capable of working with minimal supervision. Must be willing to adapt and thrive on change. As a CIBA Vision associate, you are expected to know, understand, and comply with all applicable safety and health standards and rules.

Qualifications
BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred). Minimum of 7 years experience. Medical Device experience preferred.

Thorough knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Design of Experiments. Proven process improvement record.
Must be open for domestic and international travel.

Preferred:
MS Degree w/5 years of experience. Ph.D. with 2 years of experience.
