Senior Delivery Analyst

Description: The primary purpose of this position is to perform all duties associated with assuring the quality of assigned Wolters Kluwer Health Corporate and dimension databases. This position leads and performs variant and anomalous data research after each update of the database and determines and facilitates corrective course of actions after in-depth analysis. This position is also responsible for leading, facilitating and performing special projects and or business development projects related to the assigned databases.

Special Projects/Business Development

o Leads, facilitates and performs tasks associated with special projects as defined and requested by management.
o Supports analysis, user acceptance testing, and other analytical tasks requiring strong problem solving, application and technical skills.
o Seeks and applies continuous process improvements for relevant applications and initiates changes when appropriate.
o Serves as a data expert on respective databases during research, analysis and reporting of suspect data, and quality alerts.
o Participates with development team in application re-writes and enhancements.
o Leads the team in defining requirements, and executing user acceptance testing.

Analysis/Research

o Leads and performs routine and non-routine data and process analysis and research on an application.
o Recognizes, investigates and resolves data issues as found through processing of assigned suppliers using appropriate computer software to retrieve and report data.
o Responsible for analyzing edit rules and recommending changes through exhibiting strong analytical and data interrogation skills. Works directly with vendors/clients in resolving problems and communicating resolutions or corrective action.
o Defines impact of a current issue or data problem and escalates appropriately develops and implements, short and long term solutions as well as defining on-going QC procedures.

Quality Control

o Drive daily production tasks from a quality and volume perspective.
o Perform and design quality assurance measures with adherence to application standards or client specifications including routine and non-routine entities where a developed or special skill set may be required.
o Analyze data supplier trends using established quality assurance methods.


o Recognize and raise visibility of variances prior to process completion and recommend business solutions.

Training and Documentation

o Develop and orchestrates training in Data Integrity and other business units on definition and use of data and the applications used to process the data.
o Participates with supervisor or applications specialist in creating and establishing business rules for relevant databases.
o Analyzes and edits current process maps, business rules, and documentation for all database processes.
o Improves & maintains currency of standard reports produced for the business by Customer Operations.

Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree is required.

Skills:

Expert level of knowledge on MS Access, Excel and Word, SAS, Syncsort, JCL, QMF/SQL, TOAD/SQL, M/F operations, ETL tools
