Medical Records Technician

Description:
Under minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to maintain accurate timely preparation of the medical record. Provides exceptional customer service and maintains patient confidentiality. Demonstrates knowledge of computers. Demonstrates communication skills. Promotes professional behavior and the ability to perform as a team player..

Qualifications:
High School graduate or GED. Previous medical receptionist/office experience preferred. Previous medical record experience preferred. Ability to provide professional customer service through demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, telephone courtesy, and problem solving skills. PC/keyboard and computer skills essential. Proven ability as a team player. Dependable, reliable, and flexible in assigned work areas and hours. Punctual; reporting to work on time every day as scheduled. Bilingual helpful. High energy, mature, positive attitude with strong organization and multi-tasking skills. Willing to cross-train to other departments. Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred: typing WPM 30+ with accuracy.
