Director System HIMS Medical Records

Overview : Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider has an opportunity for an experienced System Director. This position will oversee (HIMS) Health Information Management Services for Banner Health and be lcoated in Phoenix, Arizona at the Banner Health Corporate Office. Responsibilities :

This position will be responsible for successfully leading operational and administrative activities of HIMS including organizing, coordinating, planning, and monitoring HIMS activities in conjunction with Banner Health's transition into an electronic medical record.

Qualifications :

Must possess Registered Health Information Administrator or Registered Health Information Technician in an active status with American Health Information Management Association and five years director level experience in HIMS. Master's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge are preferred. Highly effective verbal,written and computer skills are essential.
