Position: Account Executive, Health Plans
Reports To: Vice President of Healthcare Sales
Territory: 2 Opportunities available, one for the West Coast and one for the East Coast.
Location: Remote
Travel: 30-50%

Primary Responsibilities: Oversees health plan and Third Party Administrator (TPA) relationships and service delivery for McKesson Consumer Solutions (RelayHealth) secure patient-physician communication services in regional market(s). Needs to be comfortable working in team client-support environment.

Calling on Health Plan Sales, Network Management, Marketing and regional field sales and service teams to promote McKesson Consumer Solutions service, increase awareness, utilization, and incorporation into overall Health Plan healthcare strategy.

Promoting RelayHealth to external employers, consultants, brokers in target metropolitan markets. Support open enrollment meetings where necessary.

Achieving top-line growth revenue targets through cross-selling McKesson Consumer Solution services to existing health plans and TPAs

Experience Required: Preferably health plan account management and sales experience with national/regional health plan, major Blues plan, Third Party Administrator, or CDHP innovator. Relationships with employers, consultants, brokers and health plans is critical. Understanding of the Consumer Driven Health Plan product and market evolution is valuable, as well as an understanding of Electronic Health Records or e-prescribing. Ability to manage executive and administrative level relationships is important and frequent travel within region and to California headquarters is required.
