Academic Client Executive-West

Current Need The position of Client Executive has recently become available within the Corporate Accounts Academic Accounts Team for the Western territory. The Client Executive will sell McKesson Provider Technologies software, hardware and services through development of territory and direct sales approach to University Medical Centers.

The Client Executive will be focusing on the following activities:

* Identify and close new account opportunities with the assigned territory/accounts
* Coordinate and execute presentations, demonstrations and/or site visits
* Manage time and resource effectively to meet territory sales objectives
* Maintain industry and product knowledge, adapt to changes in market
* Report sales activity to management
* Contract negotiations
* Identify and coordinate activities with key selling influences
* Closing new business!

Experience required for this position includes:

4+ years of Healthcare products and services sales experience.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of effective sales territory management to large University Medical Centers.
Must also have strong discovery, consultative selling, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple, complex, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously.
Knowledge of current information systems technology (hardware and software) and of healthcare industry and trends.
Strategic sales and account planning skills.
Ability to demonstrate consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle.
Exposure and participation in strong sales training preferred.
PC literate

Location: Remote

Territory: Western U.S.

Travel: 50-70% required throughout assigned territory.

Education: BA or BS required, major in Business or Marketing preferred. Any healthcare related classes a plus.
