Physician Asst

Responsibilities : This position will be responsible for providing and coordinating care to pediatric patients in various settings. This position will provide patient assessments through patient exams, patient medical history, ordering and interpretation of required diagnostic procedures, developing/implementing treatment and management plans, provide pediatric teaching activities to families under the supervision of a physician.

Qualifications :

The Regulation of Physician Assistants. NCCPA certification required. Extensive training and experience in pediatric gastroenterology and clinical practice preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills and demonstrate behaviors consistant with those identified as BDMC core behavior. Must have sufficient experience, confidence and judgement to function with little outside direction. Ability to maintain CME Currency as required to maintain NCCPA Certification. PALS, ATLS and Neonatal Resuscitation desirable.
