Physician Assistant

Description:
- Provides assistance and support to physicians and other medical providers in assessing, planning, and providing patient care
- Requires a current PA License and completion of a certified Physician Assistants Program.

General Duties and Responsibilities

- On-Call Urgent Care Position.
- Urgent Care Hrs open 8am - 12pm M-F and 9am - 1am on Weekends.
- Flexible scheduling available.
- Highest standards of quality of care and patient satisfaction.
- Full scope of age-range (pediatrics and above).

Specific functions:

- Assess problems and complaints
- Synthesize and analyze data and tests
- Develop appropriate treatment plans
- Manage physical and psychosocial health status
- Perform minor office surgery and procedures according to training and proficiency
- Educate patients on various topics including health maintenance, care of specific illnesses (e.g. diabetes), and illness prevention
- Manage complex problems according to level of expertise and training with physician consultation available.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Current AZ License and Certification.
- Current DEA License
- Two or more years of comprehensive clincial experience preferred.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work weekends.
