As a Pediatric LPN with Gentiva, you will:
•Provide total patient care to high-tech, chronically ill pediatric patients in their own home.
•Consult with physician and Nurse Manager to admit and discharge patients.
•Confer with physician in developing the initial plan of treatment.
•Coordinate appropriate care, encompassing various healthcare personnel.
•Accurately, promptly, and thoroughly document patient’s care observations, interventions and evaluations.
Qualifications
•Current LPN license and CPR certification required
•Prior home health experience preferred
•Previous pediatric experieince preferred
•Experience administering appropriate medication based on patients' histories
•Knowledge of the uses and typical dosages of medications
•Excellent clinical skills and the ability to obtain good histories, perform routine physicals, and create working treatment plans
•Team-oriented and have the ability to work collaboratively with others in the medical team
