Overview :

Licensed Vocational Nurse, Post Partum
Full Time - Nights 7P-7:30A
Reports to Director of Maternal & Child Health

Responsibilities :

Provides direct and indirect care in the Maternal Child Health setting. Communicates with physicians/charge nurses about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications :

Experience/Education/Certificates/Licenses/Skills: Graduate of an accredited program for licensed practical nurses. Current license. CPR update. Sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment.

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English. Additional languages preferred.
