Job Description: SEEKING PROFESSIONAL UTILIZATION MANAGER FOR THE LOS ANGELES AREA. DUTIES: ACTS AS A RESOURCE FOR RN CASE MANAGERS AND UR NURSES. DEVELOPS, COORDINATES AND MANAGES THE CLINICAL AND OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT ARE DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT OF MEDICAL SERVICES. MUST HAVE CURRENT RN LICENSE. BSN OR BA OR BS DEGREE IN HEALTH CARE RELATED FIELD. AT LEAST THREE TO FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE IN UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT, DISCHARGE PLANNING, AMBULATORY CASE MANAGEMENT IN A MANAGED CARE SETTING.
