Phlebotomy Medical Assistant and Customer Service Rep

Medically trained and mentally sharp customer service rep needed who is trained in clerical and medical assistant/phlebotomy skills.  Full time position available starting @ $11.50/hr for 3 months, then $12.00/hr.  Bi-lingual a plus but not required.  Benefits: 8 paid holidays, some dental & medical insurance available.  After 2 years IRA & 5 paid vacation days.  Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Most important: Clerical skills needed:  Friendly telephone voice, computer skills in Windows related programs, good management and organizational skills.  Must be very people and service oriented.  Responsibilites include:  Telephone answering, taking job requests by phone, managing the schedules of a team of medical personnel, keeping computer files up-to-date.  Communicating with customers professionally very important.

 

2nd in importance: Medical skills needed: Phlebotomy, vital signs, taking a medical history, performing a resting EKG.  (OK to apply if you are only a phlebotomist but must also be a quick learner to be taught other skills.)
