Personal Care Aide

The President & CEO of Sacramento company needs an assistant to help with daily living and personal care needs;  including but not limited to grooming, hygiene, medications, transportation to meetings.  Able to travel on “out-of-town” and overseas trips, up to 1 to 2 weeks.  Must have physical ability to lift and carry for short distances up to 205 lbs.  Must have medical training and skills with personal health care matters.  CNA is preferred.  Must be personable & pleasant while on job for long hours, sometimes working 7 days.  Must have CDL, good DMV record, and skilled at driving in all types of traffic, weather conditions, day and night.  Should have rudimentary mechanical skills for working with electrical wheel chairs.  Must have interpersonal skills to interface with community leaders, company executives, and workers.  Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of internet.  Must possess initiative, independence, and some analytical skills;  not only for daily tasks but also when traveling and facilitating transportation to and from airports and lodgings.

 

Work hours require flexibility as generally commence between 8 to 10 AM and ends between 9 to 11 PM; or later.  Usually a 2 to 3 hr break during the day.  Hourly pay will be based upon experience.  Comprehensive benefit package;  med, dental, retirement, and other.
