Medication Assistant - Woodbridge Estates

The Medication Assistant will provide assisted living services to meet resident care needs under the supervision of the Resident Services Director to assist in maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents.  Duties include: supervise and assist the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents’ oral medication(s); report observations to licensed nurse; report changes in residents’ conditions; monitor vital signs; document medications and other issues appropriately as outlined in the Wellness Policy and Procedure Manual, document other issues appropriately; assist residents with activities of daily living; respond to emergency call signals; and other duties as assigned.

 

Qualified candidates will successfully complete training as required by state regulations.  Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials, and general public.  Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
