Third Party Medical Billers

We are seeking experienced 3rd Party Billers to join a friendly, fast-paced Downtown office in the patient accounting division. Positions require responsible, organized, detail-oriented people with proven billing skills. Full-time positions available from 11a-8p & part-time, Mon-Thurs from 4p-8p. $10-12/hr. Duties Processing all aspects of billing functions and working toward the department's common goals.Maintains work operations by following policies and proceduresCollects delinquent accounts by establishing payment arrangements with patients; monitoring payments; following up with patients when payment lapses occur.QualificationsMust be able to pass both background & credit check. Minimum of two years Medical Billing experience  preferred.Insurance follow-up, auto-dialer experience and excellent customer service skills.Working knowledge of CPT & ICD-9 codingKnowledge of  Explanation of Benefits and insurance carrier rules (i.e. Medicare, Blue Cross, Medicaid and Commercial carriers).Detailed orientedAbility to problem solve by tracking, trending and analyzing root causes of account problems.Excellent people, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
