Overview : Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare provider, has a full time opening at Seville Family Practice located in Gilbert for a Front Office Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for assisting the medical and nursing staff in providing patient care. Medical Assistant will greet, schedule appointments, obtain preauthorizations, collect co-pays and escort patients to exam rooms, prepare patients for procedures and exams, assist with procedures, minor surgeries and collect specimens for laboratory processing. The MA shall participate in transporting patients to and from radiology and other ancillary departments of the hospital as needed.

Qualifications :

Must be a certified medical assistant. Previous front/back office experience a plus. Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
