FINANCIAL ANALYST MANAGED CARE

CHW is seeking a Financial Analyst to be part of its Managed Care Contracting Team. Working remotely from the Phoenix Service Center and in support of CHW Nevada geography, the Financial Analyst will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of managed care contracts for the Nevada market and other geographical areas, under the direction of the Senior Director, Managed Care.

Responsibilities include assisting in the development of a local managed care utilization database, producing contract performance reports, modeling reimbursement rates, evaluating financial contract modifications and compiling and monitoring key managed care statistics. This position will also serve as a managed care resource for internal departments (i.e. patient financial services and decision support).

Successful candidate will posses a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or finance related field. Minimum (3) years of health care financial/managed care experience with a thorough knowledge of managed care contracts payment terms, healthcare finance concepts and principles, hospital service coding methodologies (i.e. DRG, APC, RVS, ICD-9), hospital data and statistics, and patient accounting operations as they relate to managed care and data analysis. Ability to work independently set priorities and manage work within time frames, analyze technical material, and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Requires proficiency with Excel, and database tools such as Microsoft Access.

Salary commensurate with years of experience in the position.
