Senior .Net Business Analyst

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to spearhead mission-critical changes to the existing WorkSource1 System. This includes the following tasks:

1. Thorough analysis to the WorkSource1 System Architecture, UI, business logic and data model to determine the most efficient way to implement the client mandated system changes as well as enhancements and other system changes to make Worksource1 a more effective tool for the other workforce development programs managed by client in addition to the Workforce1 Career Centers – such as Customized Training, Adult Special Population contracts and other legacy contracts.

2. Conceptualize and develop a strategy to implement changes.

3. Develop a comprehensive project plan that takes into account all required work, constituencies and resources.

4. Act as project manager and oversee 2-3 .NET programmers who will perform this work – working closely with operations and technology staff.

5. Assist in the .NET development of these changes - Strongly Preferred

6. Communicate effectively with client, business users and client executives.  Candidate MUST be able to resolve technical issues, coordinate project tasks and provide status reports.

7.  Work with business user and client executive to assess the impact of these changes to the system and operations.

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: At least 8 years experience in analysis of business requirements.Ability to apply proven software project management methodologies. Experience with documenting functionality requirements.C# .NET programming, systems designs, software architecture and database design/architecture in MS-SQL.Experience developing end-user documentation.

· Strong working knowledge of MS SQL Server, Visio, Crystal Reports.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: VBA, Access, PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent interpersonal skills and writing skills.Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. 

 

HOURS:  35 hour work week.

 

This 4+ month position starts ASAP.
