SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

Job Description: Senior-level systems engineer will serve as a consultant to  IRS IT projects (Customer Service & Account Management, Corporate Systems & Data Management, or Compliance Processing domains) to assure that clients achieve maximum measurable results from IT investments through use of best practices, reusable components, and effective integration within the IRS Enterprise Architecture (EA).

Major Responsibilities:

-Guide clients in definition and resolution of complex business problems through EA-compliant, innovative technology solutions within a multidisciplinary environment
-Mentor development teams

-Develop high quality documentation, including vendor and product evaluations, requirements documents, strategic plans, EA change requests, and briefing materials

-Review and assess quality of system development life cycle documentation defined by development teams

-Review strategic and technical merits of proposed projects in designated areas.
-Develop strong working relationships with customers at all levels from developers to senior management

-Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
