QA/QC Project Manager/Analyst

  Years of Experience A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance & quality control with 6 – 10 years of experience in a QA/QC management capacity.
Must have 3 - 6 years of experience managing deployments for ERP type systems, or performing quality assurance & quality control actions for deployment efforts.
Any experience with Payroll and/or Workforce Management systems is a plus.

 

Job Description
Manage the QA effort for multiple deployments of a sophisticated time and leave system.
Understanding each agencies acceptance criteria, then creating and designing a QC solution to validate those criteria.
Setting expectations appropriately with customers and delivering successes.
Determine, document and QC project plans and proposals.
Understand document and QC customer requirements.
Design, document and QC workflows and processes to support those requirements.
Work closely with Technical Consultants to deliver solutions.
QA overall projects using standard project management methodology.
Help the customer transition to the new production system – change management.
Makes tough decisions about deployment quality, renders judgments, or takes actions, after considering alternative solutions and business priorities.
Professionally represent our Client in all business transactions with the agencies and be responsible for overall agency satisfaction with the deployment process – ensure agencies become “referenceable”.

 

Skill - Requirements
Effective communication skills. Must be capable of communicating effectively both orally and written, with senior managers down to junior team members.  Must be capable of drafting, reviewing and evaluating documents and artifacts.
Proven organization skills. Must be capable of managing multiple deployments concurrently with a small team of QC Analysts.
Effective process skills. Must be experienced with development, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement for all supporting processes and procedures governing deployment.
Effective Metrics orientation.  Must be experienced in designing, developing, implementing, and managing QA/QC metrics.
Project management experience overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
Excellent credentials in team management. Since this project will be operating in a very aggressive delivery atmosphere the ability to continually monitor and motivate team members is an important attribute.
Excellent understanding of Risk Assessment processes and methodologies.
Should have the maturity and adaptability to toggle between strategy and the realities of operational execution.
CMMI or PMI certification is a plus.

 

Opportunity to work on a very large, high profile project.  The application will ultimately be deployed to over 300,000 users.

 

This is a one year plus consulting position.
