Program Supervisor- Medicaid Fraud, Waste and Abuse Program.

 

Nassau County is seeking a Program Supervisor for the County’s recently established Medicaid Fraud, Waste and Abuse Program.

 

The candidate will provide assistance on all general Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse matters; assist in the development of new cases with a focus on prescription drug diversion cases; oversee the day-to-day operations and activities on pending cases; participate in the development and execution of investigative strategies on pending cases; interface with law enforcement and prosecuting officials; provide assistance on project related administrative functions.

 

Qualification Requirements:A Master’s Degree.  A minimum of four (4) years experience in the area of Medicaid fraud, waste, abuse and case management, including conducting surveillance, undercover shops and/or sting operations. A valid NYS Driver’s License.Excellent computer/analytical/communication/written skills.Experience in the area of prescription drug diversion investigations is preferred. Law enforcement experience also a plus.

 

 

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience.
