We are seeking a Program Manager with experience in Linguists Operations in our Reston headquarters.



 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

Program Manager provides management oversight and direction to Linguist Operations functions.  Must demonstrate sound business judgment, innovation in approaching business challenges and the ability to translate a strategic plan into operating results.  An experienced Program Manager with a Top Secret Clearance with experience in Linguist Operations in CONUS and OCONUS. An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards. A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. A well organized and self-directed individual who is "politically savvy" and a team player. An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills. A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor. An excellent negotiator who is experienced in contracts. A decisive individual who possesses a "big picture" perspective and is well versed in systems. Experience in Exercise Support Programs at Ft Irwin or Ft Hood a major plus

 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Specific responsibilities for theProgram Manager of  Linguist Operations include the following:

 Manage the overall INSCOM Linguist mission supporting Exercise Support MissionsManage Task Orders, Program Performance to include Financial performance, customer relations, subcontractor relations and Site Managers / Linguists on the program.Establish structured processes and procedures for monitoring performance, provide coaching and leadership to the mission and site leads.The INSCOM mission consists of multiple task orders. Coordination with Finance to respond to the task orders.Travel to Customer site as required.

 

 KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

 

The “ideal” candidate will possess the following core competencies and experiences:

 

· Performs BS/BA degree or equivalent. Graduate study in area of expertise is helpful, but not required.

·  Appropriate industry experience specifically in the  LINGUIST OPERATIONS.



· Performs  10 or more years of Management Experience. Experience in managing task orders in a IDIQ environment. Must have a TOP SECRET clearance



·Demonstrated strengths in organizational skills required in selecting, managing and developing assigned staff.

·  Ability to demonstrate leadership and corporate vision in relations.



· Comfortable working independently.



· Demonstrate consistent adherence to Code of Conduct and ethical standards in relating to businesses.



·Maturity of judgment under pressure; ability to balance multiple priorities in resolving/mediating resource problems or issues with undue delay and unnecessary adverse impact.



· Demonstrate ability to learn quickly; listen and communicate well in diverse situations with persons from varied cultural and ethnic backgrounds.



·Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements dictated by professional services environment.



· Commitment to using ethical behavior and compliance with Code of Conduct.
