Nassau County is recruiting a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team. Successful candidates must have extensive knowledge of HR policies and practices; excellent interpersonal and counseling skills; ability to understand employee behavior at all levels; exercise sound judgment; be capable of interacting with senior management and have the ability to advise on sensitive issues. Applicant must have strong competencies in recruitment, compensation, performance management and benefits; excellent presentation skills to roll out initiatives; sound technical skills; ability to identify training and development needs; and must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.  Qualifications: College graduate with 5+ years experience in HR and a background that exemplifies dedication and leadership.
