NAVSEA Logistics Analyst

 

Summary

The TESSADA Logistics Analyst will be responsible for supporting a U.S. Navy shipbuilding effort as a member of the TESSADA & Assoc. Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team.  In coordination with government and industry, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting ILS efforts related to ACAT I program initiation, ship construction, and successful delivery of Integrated Logistics Support products.

 

Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport working groups consisting of government and industry professionals.Responsible for leading, developing, tracking, and briefing ILS efforts related to the shipbuilding program.Research complex matters related to acquisition logistics support.Develop ACAT I  ILS planning documentsTrack major action items and their progress towards completion.Communicate both orally and through writing to the Government program office.Travel beyond the DC Metro area is expected, but not projected to exceed 10% (subject to change).

 

QualificationsCandidates will posses a minimum of four years of programmatic DOD ILS experience. Candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience with the DOD acquisition system and be familiar with the DOD 5000 series instruction.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are a must.

 

Education

College degree preferred. (Navy acquisition experience may be substituted for college degree).

 

Computer Skills

The candidate will be proficient in the use of MS Office
