Implementation Data Analyst

Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI) has a unique opportunity for an Implementation Data Analyst to join the DMHRSi Team. This position is located primarily in Falls Church, VA and may require some travel (<25%). This is a long-term project, expected to take 2+ years. It supports the pre-implementation and data management activities required for implementation of the Defense Medical Human Resource Internet (an Oracle 11i web-based human resources applications being implemented at military treatment and related facilities throughout the world).



The successful candidate will support one significant software application deployment, in a multi-customer/global-installation environment. He or she will: Lead the data collection efforts required pre and/or post implementation (involves working with customer representatives and the IT specialists at Government agencies to acquire data and establish data acquisition and cleansing processes. Work with customers and project experts to identify errors and affirm data elements. Make independent/educated judgments regarding appropriate resolutions of data anomalies. Participate in special projects with researchers, analysts and customer personnel to ensure data integrity and security based on the data we acquire and cleanse. Conducting weekly meetings with customers and report status. weekly.

Required Qualifications:


Required knowledge, skills, experience, or abilities: Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with Database Management Systems (Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.); ability to create and execute SQL. 3-5 years of project management/lead experience; Detail-oriented nature with the high degree of accuracy and a strong work ethic; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose practical solutions; Excellent skills in MS Office tools: MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Access; Strong oral, written, and listening skills. Must have proven ability to interface with all levels of management & military officials. Willingness and ability to travel when needed. U.S Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a Government-granted security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:


The following are highly desirable: Experience in developing/supporting an enterprise-wide HR Software Application highly desirable. Experience working within a Military software environment. Background in working with DOD Healthcare or DOD HR system, or experience as DOD Healthcare Administrator.
