Job Description:

Catapult Technology is seeking full-time Department Supervisors for three locations;

Austin, TX, Atlanta, GA, and Andover, MA.

 

DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR:

 

Experience Requirements:

• Experience in the supervision and scheduling of similar activities related to departmental operations of similar size, scope, and complexity.

• Experience in supervising up to 40 people.

• Experience of four or more years in a supervisor position

 

Educational Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent. Functional Responsibilities:

• As a full time position, reports to the Site Manager to supervise, plan, schedule, control, and direct assigned functional work center to accomplish contract-specified out-comes.

 

Duties include:

• Assist in production scheduling and staffing of the department

• Attend scheduled production meetings on the main campus of site location on at least a weekly basis. Frequency may be daily during peak filing season

• Provide day to day guidance and oversight of subordinates, actively works to promote and recognize performance

• Monitor daily workloads and coordinate with Leads to establish staffing schedules based on workload projections

• Identify problem areas and take corrective action

• Reports significant concerns, issues, and problems to the Site Manager

• Review and approve Weekly Production Reports

• Implement quality control in assigned functional area o Perform quality control random sampling against established IRS Performance Standards o Conduct and documented quality inspections for work in assigned functional area o Assign and monitor quality work, assure staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations o Conduct supervisory inspections of the work performed in their functional area in accordance

 

o Utilize the “Issue Identification, Prevention, and Corrective Action Process.”

o Monitor and analyze quality issues and trends.

o Take appropriate action to maintain effective quality control in sssigned functional area

o Ensure that assigned employees have required certifications, qualifications and training o Participate in the “Responsive Job-Skill Training Process.”

• Reviews and approves time keeping on all subordinates

• Maintain satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity.

• Be the Alternate Site Manager as needed
