Government Contracts Specialist w/ Growing Firm

Synergy Search is a retained executive search firm.  We have been engaged by our client to lead a search for a Government Contracts Specialist.  This position is located at a major federal agency in the Pentagon City area.  It is a highly visible role with a growing young company.

Our client was recently awarded a major multi-year contract with the agency.  They have been tasked to fill this senior key role in the contracts area.

The Position:

*In support of a U.S. government agency by serving as "hands on" manager for contract administration of multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements.

*Serves as a senior acquisition and contracting specialist for complex awards.

*Interfaces with the program office, government contracting officer, and acquisition staff in the drafting of formal documents for contract awards.

*Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Clearance.

*7+ years of government acquisition experience and in-depth knowledge of FAR.  CPCM or DAWIA/APDP Level III is a strong plus.
